Dr Nick Tupper

MBChB, MRCGP

I am an experienced GP who is excited to be working at Tweed Mall Medical Centre. I qualified in the UK in 1995 from Sheffield University and became a GP in 2002, passing the MRCGP with distinction. I have since been a senior, managing partner in a practice in Doncaster, Yorkshire, UK. I have a special interest in geriatric medicine, especially care of patients with dementia. I am also interested in cardiovascular medicine, diabetes and Mental Health. I am currently developing extra skills in skin lesions and dermoscopy, essential in this area of Australia!

I care about education and was the senior course organiser for the local GP training scheme. I was a GP trainer in my own practice and a GP appraiser.

As well as being a GP, I have been involved in organising health care in Doncaster; including currently being the Clinical Director of a consortium of practices and previously being the chairman of NHS Doncaster Clinical Commissioning Group.

I am married to a nurse and we have three wonderful children aged 28, 26 and 15.

We are excited to establish ourselves in Tweed Heads and discover the delights of Australia. I enjoy playing the guitar, photography and travel.

Dr Michael Ward

B.Med, FRACGP

Dr Michael Ward is an Australian, UK and USA trained GP and Family Physician.
In the UK, Dr Ward trained at the Oxford Deanery and was part of a pioneering program providing telehealth urgent care and GP services to patients across Metropolitan London.
In the US, In addition to his clinical work, Dr Ward also has postgraduate qualifications in healthcare business administration (George Washington University) and public health (Harvard)
Dr Ward is a past Assistant Clinical Professor of Family Medicine (New York, USA) and remains currently active in public health research
He has particular interests in urgent care, musculoskeletal medicine, chronic disease management, telehealth and public health.
Dr Ward provides medical care to all age groups

Dr Randeep Hoonjan

MRCGP, MBBS, BSc, BSc(Hons)

As a GP I am passionate about providing the highest quality of care and building lasting doctor-patient relationships.

I graduated from Barts and The London School of Medicine & Dentistry and have worked across several clinical specialities including respiratory medicine, paediatrics and general surgery. I completed my GP training in Birmingham in the UK and provided both routine and urgent care to patients spanning all demographics.

Alongside my clinical work I thoroughly enjoyed my role as Health Inequalities Lead for South Birmingham medical centres and was heavily involved in health promotion programmes and charitable work. I was also an Honorary Research Fellow at the University of Leicester and hold postgraduate qualifications from King's College London, Imperial College London and Swansea University.

In my spare time I love keeping fit and travelling with my wife who also works in Tweed as a Dentist.

Dr Amany Galil

Dr Galil has worked full time jobs in distinguished medical centers in Australia, Egypt and Saudi Arabi. I have done also many observerships at the London Health Sciences Center (LHSC), London, Ontario, Canada. She has got a good experience as a
primary care/ Family physician managing wide spectrum of clinical cases both in
pediatrics and adults with good experience in the antenatal care of expectant
mothers.
